SOUTH ASIA FORESIGHT NETWORK(SAFN)

Launched in January 2023

The Millennium Project has just launched its South Asia Foresight Network (SAFN) with representatives from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, NepalPakistan, and Sri Lanka. SAFN’s purpose is to create a regional foresight capacity for joint futures research to improve cooperation and synergies among all nations of the region.

APOLITICAL ACADEMY GLOBAL

Global Advisory Council Member

Apolitical Academy Global is a collaborative initiative between the Apolitical Foundation and the Daniel Sachs Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to revitalise democracy for the 21st century through training transformative public sector leaders and citizen engagement. In addition to the Academy, the foundation runs bootcamps for private sector on government and a ‘Democracy Day’ initiative. Apolitical.co is a global learning network of more than 115,000 public servants in more than 170 countries.

GLOBAL DIGNITY

Country Chair Sri Lanka

Many schools worldwide in 80 nations celebrate Global Dignity day on the 20th of October, and the idea is to teach the values and importance of Dignity to school children at a young age so that they will inculcate them when they become adults. The Global Dignity program was initiated by His Royal Highness Crown Prince of Norway, John Hope Bryant and Pekka Himanen. Its honourary Board include Ambassador Andrew Young, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Sir Richard Branson, Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen and Right Hon. Michaelle Jean. Be part of this program and teach a lesson of Dignity to your school, university and community.

GLOBAL SHAPERS COLOMBO HUB

Founding Curator of the Global Shapers Colombo Hub

Global Shapers Colombo Hub has a unique and dynamic mix of young professionals from Sri Lanka. Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. With more than 13,000 members, the Global Shapers Community spans 448 city-based hubs in 150 countries.

The site will quantify the data and the public will be able to see the most corrupt district, department or police station etc.
IPAB global has partnered with non-profits and transparency organisations in 25 countries to create similar IPaidabribe.com sites and has initiated an international coalition named – Crowdsourcing Against Corruption Coalition.
